The 55W 12V halogen lamp with a PK22S base is the ideal lighting solution for automotive and technical applications that require a reliable, dimmable light source. This OSRAM lamp combines energy efficiency with German engineering to ensure long-lasting performance in professional environments.
The 55W 12V halogen lamp stands out as the primary light source for automotive lighting systems, work lights on industrial vehicles, and applications on specialized vehicles. Halogen technology ensures superior color rendering and instant-on performance—essential features for road safety and construction site operations. The PK22S lamp holder ensures compatibility with standard European automotive lighting systems.
Thanks to its dimmable capability, this lamp is suitable for scenarios where light intensity needs to be adjusted: from auxiliary lighting systems on earthmoving equipment to backup light sources on service vehicles. Its 55W power rating at 12V makes it ideal for low-voltage systems powered by batteries or dedicated transformers, reducing power consumption and ensuring reliability in critical operating conditions.
Manufactured by OSRAM, a leading brand in lighting technology, this lamp is robust and long-lasting even when exposed to vibrations, temperature fluctuations, and humid environments typical of the automotive and industrial sectors. Halogen technology maintains stable light output over time, without premature degradation of luminous efficiency, ensuring operational continuity and reduced maintenance costs.
The PK22S base is the recognized standard for this category of automotive lamps, facilitating replacement and integration into existing systems. Dimmability allows for optimized energy consumption by adapting lighting to actual needs—a critical factor in vehicles powered by batteries or systems with limited energy.
